Just thought I should tell you that the adjuster arrived on time. He was very nice and apologetic for the phone number mix up. He did his job quickly and professionally. I now have the estimate and the check. I'm just waiting for a call back from the body shop so that I can make arrangements to take the car in to be fixed and pick up a rental. (Would you believe that little bit of damage amounts to over $900????)
Woo Hoo!
Happy Stitching!

Ouch! That's a chunk of money. I had to replace my grandma's rear bumper after my dad backed into it one day (earlier this year). That was $400.00! Now, I have to get my dad's rear bumper fixed after backing into my grandma's driver side door. This was after telling him NOT to hit her car again and he turned his keys over to me. Damage to grandma's car: NONE! Damage to dad's van: rear bumper corner smashed in. Expression on both faces: PRICELESS!!! LOL
Glad your adjuster finally showed up and you will have a fixed car door...
I'm so glad to hear that the adjuster showed up and got you taken care of! Hopefully the rest of the fix will go smoothly! It is amazing how quickly those costs add up, for something that really shouldn't be that hard to fix.
GOOD! When our car was hit they were really fast and helpful too. We've heard stories not as fortunate as that.
I'm amazed at how much the littlest thing costs to fix on a car. I'm glad that you got everything straightened out.
Body work can be very costly, my husband does this for a living and has for 40 years, it looks like it should be simple, but it requires a lot of work...not as easy as you think, very technical and with all these new cars with all the extra things air bags, electric cars lots of add ons makes the job all that more complicated..
Glad you're OK cars are easier to fix then people :-)
