In keeping with my cost cutting goals for 2011, everything has come from my stash. Many things have been kitted up for some time now (such as Moulin Rouge, Letter "J" and the Homespun Elegence pieces to name a few). What ever patterns haven't been pre-kitted will use floss and linen that are already in my stash. After all, at the rate I'm stitching, I have enough for five lifetimes!!
Speaking of an over abundance of stash, while I was searching for my "15", I came across many charts that I know I will never stitch. I thought I might create a "Sale Blog" and offer them to you, my fellow stitchers, before I put them on the likes of the "Bay of Evil" or Craig's List. What do you think?
Well, I must get going. I can already tell it is going to be a busy Monday to start off an even busier week.
Happy Stitching!

Hi, Jennifer ~ You go, girl, for accepting the Crazy January Challenge. It's not for weak women, and I'm one weak woman! Personally, I would offer your charts on your blog first ~ you can skip the fees, you pick the payment method, etc. You might not get the response you want from Craiglist (I've gone that route and sold nothing). I would say eBay as a last resort. I hate how much their fees have increased, plus they get a double whammy with paypal.
Good luck!!
15 projects in a year - awesome! I would love to make the list, but I know I would never be able to complete that many in that time. I think you should have a sale on your blog - sounds like a really fun idea! I'll keep watching - I'm guilty of stashing a lot as well!
Have a great week!
Christine
After readiong your blog last week I joined the challenge as well. I really like how you have listed your projects on your sidebar. I may do the same just to keep me on track. As for your stash, I have had luck listing in seperate blog--eliminates any excess fees.
Happy Holidays!!

I am cheering you on, girlfriend!
I love your new background...it looks perfect.

I'm cheering you on with Ma Teakettle! You have some great projects picked out. Congrats in doing it all from stash.
I love your sale blog idea. I'm always looking for something new (to me, at least!), and it's a good way to help both of us (and other stitchers).
I need to figure out what I am going to stitch - It is hard to narrow the choices !! Your list is looking grand :)
Very nice list already!
I'm playing with my stash as well and have found many, many charts that I absolutely want to stitch. But I think I will make it a designer list - 15 designers and one project each.
