What Happened to "Global Warming"?
It's cold......darn cold! We are running around 20 degrees below our normal temperatures and we've already broken at least one record low this week. This "southerner" is not game for these tempuratures. Not only that, but it has snowed twice already this month and it is snowing again today to make the third time a charm. It NEVER snows here this time of year!

I agree!! Much to cold here too!! Not to mention the winds!
Well... it's up at the poles, where unusual levels of warmth melt the polar ice caps and send very cold water through the oceanic waterways (like the Gulf Stream, which is causing unusually cold weather where it shouldn't be. There was a Pentagon report about six years ago that indicated concern that the worst case scenario of global warming (aka global climate change) could lead to the next Ice Age. At best case, global temperatures have already altered a few degrees in each direction - hotter in the summer, colder in the winter - than it was just 20 years ago, and those extremes are speeding up.

I know what you mean. It is just cold, cold, cold. We haven't really had any snow yet. Just a dusting on Tuesday. I'm in NY and it is now snowing in Virginia! Something sure seems wrong with this picture. But then I do not want the kind of snow we had last winter. I am really not in the mood for shoveling. :)
About people getting wacky...here in (central) Arizona it hardly rains and when it does, like today, everyone forgets how to drive!
There's no telling what Mother Nature will do let alone people who get crazy this time of year. Where we live they are nuts when it comes to snow driving alot of them act like its still 110 degrees and sunny here. Hope you stay warm.
... that's the question I have been asking myself since this very early start of winter in November. LOL.
come on out to AZ. it's been upper 70's low 80's (except yesterday, rainy and cold). It sure does't seem like christmas time with this warm weather, which is a whole lot warmer than normal for us too
