Bad News: There was a chip in the wheel. They didn't figure that out until after they had my car back there for almost an hour. I'll have to go back next week and get it fixed then because they have to reorder the wheel.
Good News: I'm also getting a new wheel for the other side. You see, a few months ago Hubby decided to introduce Mr. Wheel to Mr. Curb. Let's just say that they didn't like each other very much and Mr. Wheel paid for it with scrapes and scratches that became permanent scars. So, because I had to come back so many times, all I have to pay for is the wheel on the passenger side and the Collision Center will take care of the labor costs. Woo-Hoo!
Even More Good News: I had an hour of uninterrupted stitching while waiting for the car that didn't get fixed. That hour of stitching is probably the reason I was so nice to the lady when she came out to tell me I would have to wait until next week for my car to be fixed!

So, with all the craziness of today, I'm going to delay my pictures from the last day of vacation. I promise to post them soon.
Best wishes for a wonderful weekend. And if you are in one of the hot areas of the States like I am, be sure to drink plenty of fluids and seek out lots of a/c. We are looking at triple digits and high humidity here.......I guess we will be suffering through our outside activities this weekend!
Happy Stitching!

Boy, you really do never have a dull moment :) You sound like me! LOL!
Anyway...LOVE your flatfold you did a great job!
yes, you did a really nice job of a flatfold. I have yet to complete one... tried, but it didn't look right. So, chickened out. I predict that I will do one before the year is out! I wish I would have an hour of stitching time. By the time I am done doing 'stuff' around here, I am wiped and head to bed. One more week, then it should settle down... Hugs.
I can tell you that I had NO idea that was your first flat fold, it's perfectly perfect! :) I just wanted to say THANK YOU again for all the lovely spoiling! I'm going to hang the little sign with my name by my stitching chair in hopes that it will remind the cat and DH that my butt's the only one that belongs there! :)
Love your flat fold, great job. By the way, can I borrow the shape of the birds in your header picture? I want to stitch them in my Margaret Harris, they are just the right style.
Love the flatfold you finished. Fabric is perfect! Nice giveaway.
Your flatfold turned out beautifully! Vonna really is the bomb. Great giveaway!
Love the flatfold finish! It came out great!! :)
love your finish...I've never done a flatfold yet. It looks cool (and hard)! Car problems really suck, that's for sure! I hope I have our issues behind us for a bit. Enjoy the rest of your weekend - and stay cool!!
